Food served from 5:30pm until 9pm weekdays and 12:30 until 3 pm then 5:30 until 9pm at the weekend and bank holidays

Neil and the Team

In late 2023 The George Hotel was near closure. As a villager myself I was determined that the pub, the heart of the village wouldn’t close. In February 2024 we took on the pub and since then built a great team who have worked to rebuild the business, providing a great local pub for all to enjoy. We have the privilege of welcoming guests from all over the world on the Coast to Coast walk and providing great drink and food to our locals. We would love to welcome you to our pub, so book a room, come for a meal or just pop in for a drink.
